A lot of folks believed that this spot is only set design of the film Indiana Jones. But this amazing location actually exist. Petra is an ancient city, built in the red rocks of the desert in Jordan.

The most well-known historical and archaeological city, and also the most visited tourist attraction in Jordan is the city of Petra. The town lies on the slope of Mount Hor, was founded in 312 BCE and is recognized for its architecture - processed stone blocks. The city of Petra is declared a World Heritage Internet site by UNESCO in 1985, and the records of the city of UNESCO as "1 of the most beneficial cultural heritage of the cultural heritage of the people".

Petra is an abandoned ancient city in present-day Jordan. The hotel is situated on a mountain valley in the East observe Arab, in the overlapping routes to Gaza in the west, Bosra and Damascus in the north of Eilat Red Sea and the Persian Gulf on the other side of the desert. on six December 1985 Petra is added to the list of World Heritage Website by UNESCO. Petra is 1 of the new seven wonders of the planet.

The Monastery, Petra's largest monument, dates from the year 1 - Century BC and was devoted in honor of the god Obodas. (this data is written on the ruins of the monastery).
