Nikko National Park is a national park in the Kanto region on the major island of Honshu in Japan. This national park is established in 1934 and extends more than four prefectures :. Tochigi, Gunma, Fukushima and Niigata

The park is rich in striking landscapes and scenery. It is also a spot wealthy in history. Several Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. The most striking are the Nikko Tosho-gu and Rinno-ji. You are deisgnated a UNESCO Planet Heritage Site as the Shrines and Temples of Nikko.

Nikko National Park is a popular destination for camping, golf, skiing, hiking and several historical starting of thermal baths.

Nantai

The name Monte Nantai literally "physique mountain of man". It is height is 2485 m. On a clear day it can be seen from the Pacific Ocean one hundred km away.

Shinkyo Sacred Bridge

This bridge is positioned just outside the National Park and is a Shinto shrine. The bridge crosses the river Daiya.

Senjou-ga-hara

This is a four square kilometers. The name in English translates as battlefield.

Kegon-no-taki waterfall and the Chuzenji-ko Lake

The lake is 161 meters deep and it was designed by the outbreak of Nantai. Kegon waterfalls are 97 is high.
